E&I Reliability Lead

Job description

The essential function of the role is to provide technical support and leadership related to mechanical of strategy optimization, defect elimination, and reliability improvement to sustain plant availability.

Responsibilities

• Reliability Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret reliability and performance data to identify equipment trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for improvement.
• Reliability Improvement Strategies: Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies, including RCM, to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• RCM Work Process: Establish and maintain a robust RCM work process, collaborating with maintenance teams to develop and update preventive maintenance plans based on equipment failure modes and criticality.
• Capacity Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to improve plant capacity utilization through equipment upgrades, process optimization, and maintenance strategy adjustments.
• Failure Investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead thorough investigations of equipment failures, conduct RCAs, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Provide technical expertise and support to address equipment vulnerabilities and threats, collaborating with the Asset Team to develop effective solutions.
• Bad Actor Tracking: Establish and maintain a proactive program to track and address critical equipment issues, driving continuous improvement in plant reliability.
• Safety and Risk Assessment: Participate in various safety and risk assessment activities, such as PHAs, HAZOPs, and HEMP, to ensure the safe operation of plant equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in E&I maintenance, preferably in the chemical fertilizer, petrochemical, or refinery industry.
• Certifications: CMRP, CRE, or other relevant reliability certifications preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of RBA, RCM, MOC, and causal learning principles. Proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and fact-based decision-making.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in diverse teams, and strong organizational and time management skills.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Location: Ability to work full-time at the Sokhna site.
